До глибини душі розумію всіх пошукачів роботи, їхні хвилювання та надії. В цій статті хочу дати декілька корисних порад, виходячи з власного досвіду проведення інтерв'ю з претендентами на VIP-посади. Користуйтеся досвідом, застосовуйте його, досягайте й діліться досягненнями з іншими!

Пам’ятаймо, що отримання роботи – це справа кропітка. Терпіння і позитив дадуть вам хороший настрій, а він відразу передається до того, хто приймає рішення!

  1. Підготовка. Не приходьте на зустріч просто подивитися. Дізнайтеся максимум інформації про компанію на її сайті, виявіть справжню цікавість до роботодавця!
  2. Поведінка. Варто завжди вести себе делікатно і коректно, ввічливо і уважно. Навіть в компаніях не вартих особливої поваги, ведіть себе гідно і стримано!
  3. Хвилювання. Страх – поганий помічник! Його можна легко подолати, змінивши всередині ставлення до зустрічі в чужому офісі. Скажіть собі: це буде мій корисний досвід, мені просто все цікаво! І страх зникне!
  4. Взаємозацікавленість. Зважте на те, що співпраця і взаєморозуміння ґрунтуються на законі резонансу. Якщо бачити і чути лише себе, то явище резонансу не виникне. Виявляйте увагу та елементарну вдячність!
  5. Враження від вас. Характеристика кандидата «приємна людина» - це не остання справа! Мало того, бути такою - це чудова звичка. Чому ж ми маємо забувати про неї на зустрічі?
  6. Одяг. Це окрема тема. Але й тут бажано звернутися до свого розуму і запитати себе: "А чи відповідає мій одяг поняттю «ділова зустріч?"
  7. Рівень знань. Вас візьмуть на роботу лише тоді, коли Ви краще інших вмієте робити свою справу. Пам'ятайте: Вас беруть не на навчання. Вас беруть на роботу!

DO'S:

  1. Greet your interviewer with a firm handshake and a smile
  2. Make good eye contact
  3. Never sit until asked to do so
  4. Maintain good posture and don't fidget. Sit upright (do not slouch) in the chair
  5. Listen carefully and wait your turn to speak
  6. Dress professionally. Business suit only unless specifically told otherwise
  7. Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled interview time
  8. Research the company and know the current issues (Get their annual report or look for their website)
  9. Know why you want to work for the company and how you can contribute
  10. Remember that anyone you come into contact with may have input into the hiring decision - always be polite
  11. Have relevant questions prepared for the interview
  12. Know what sets you apart from other candidates - what are your strengths
  13. Be prepared to translate your previous work experience, to relate to the position your interviewing for
  14. Practice before going into the actual interview
  15. Remember to ask for a business card
  16. Send a thank you letter to all the people with whom you have met
  17. Remember that firms are choosing from a number of qualified applicants: don't take rejection personally
  18. Talk with individuals who have previously worked in the company or industry you are interested in
  19. Have a clear understanding of what you want to get across in the interview
  20. Think about the interviewers questions before you give just any answer; make sure it clearly answers the question
  21. Document with notes after the interview for follow-up and thank you's
  22. Call if you are going to be late

DON'T:

  1. Arrive late
  2. Wear heavy make-up, cologne or perfumes
  3. Smoke before your interview
  4. Focus on your perceived weaknesses or lack of experience
  5. Be critical of employers
  6. Exaggerate or lie about yourself or your work history
  7. Arrive unprepared
  8. Ask questions for the sake of asking questions
  9. Ramble about non-relevant issues
  10. Show impatience with the interviewer, even if you have been kept waiting too long
  11. Assume that you know the outcome of the interview after it is over - you are not a mind reader
  12. Let the interview process stress you out
  13. Be afraid to use non-work experience to highlight a particular skill
